Another Report
Another Report
You're a newly employed scientist whose main job is to write reports for the Foundation. Alongside this, you must also complete various tasks and "watch over" a recently contained creature with abnormal abilities known as SCP-10237. This strange and powerful SCP can turn back time for an individual, and the Foundation takes advantage of its capabilities to make you relive your first day repeatedly until you meet your daily word quota.
Meet your quotas, complete your side tasks, ensure the SCP remains comfortable, and most importantly…
Escape the loop.
How to play
To get started, take a seat in your chair and start writing those reports.
Take a look at the chalkboard against the back wall for useful information. With every loop, a new piece of information is added to the chalkboard.
And yes, you will loop — many times. Corporate doesn't like to waste resources on training newbies, so death is your greatest teacher.
Controls
A and D - move
E - interact with highlighted objects
Thank you for playing our game!

Ts was absolute heat, literally had me sweating up on day 1. Has me fearing a 9-5 j*b. D:
On a more serious note;
This game was a joy to play albeit it being a little stressful with how it just throws you in without a true guide and having to balance a multitude of tasks on top of each other. I feel that with a bit of time spent reworking a few features to balance out each other, this game could truly shine. On the topic of "shining," I feel the graphic designing and sprites of everything could use a little more love. The atmosphere felt a little empty and lackluster for an office that is meant to feel like a coffee-holic's workplace. Atmosphere is heavily lacking, I fear, and the only thing that adds true horror to this game is the loud sound design. Other than my nitpicks, I thoroughly enjoyed the game and its little tasks, especially the typing quota.
Also, fire voice acting. A little hard to understand with excessive distortion but it got the point across.
Thank you for your feedback! It definitely is a challenge when you first start, but I like the idea of finding out how to play as you reset over and over. But I can also think of some quality-of-life changes that'd improve the newbie experience without sacrificing the 'learning through resetting' mechanic.
I designed the background, and I kind of agree with you--I wanted to make the background kind of desaturated because I felt it fit with the theme of the game, but it was a bit of a tradeoff for character. If I had more time, I would've put a bit more thought into how the room looked. Though the lore is that it's his first day at work (at least, until you progress to the next day), so I'm not sure he had much time to make it messy and unorganized, but it would've been cool to see change over time as you progress through the days (not that I've gotten very far myself). And if I were more skilled, I'd have loved to make the room more dim and the lighting more dramatic.
But anyway, thank you for playing our game, glad you enjoyed it :)
